During the current COVID-19 crisis, the NHS has told your practice that we can only dispense your medication at the normal intervals. Your dispensary team cannot over order medication, or dispense medications that you do not need ‘just in case’.

Stockpiling and hoarding may lead to some people going without essential medications, like inhalers or epilepsy drugs.

Please do not ask for prescriptions for over the counter drugs, like paracetamol. If these are not available to purchase elsewhere, this means there is likely to be a very limited supply, which must be reserved for the sickest people.

Your dispensary team will continue to do its best to supply your medications, so please help us to work together as a strong community by acting responsibly.
