Practice changes Posted or Updated on 25 May 2023

The information below describe the changes we've had to implement at the Practice to ensure that we can continue to provide a good service for our patients, whilst ensuring both staff and patient safety.

Thank you for adapting to these necessary changes and for your understanding during these difficult times.

The Practice Team at Upper Eden Medical Practice

When you call for an appointment you will be asked to provide information to help us provide the right care for you.

We could arrange a call back, a video call or you could be asked to come in.

This is to reduce the number of people coming into our surgeries to keep us all safe.

You may be given an appointment where a member of our team calls you back or arranges a video call.

If you have a face to face appointment at our surgery you will be asked to wear a face covering and to sanitise your hands on arrival.

Don’t be apartment if you need to see one of our team - we may be wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to keep us all safe.

This could include gloves, facemasks, plastic apron and a visor. We are still the same people underneath.

Please be kind to our staff during these difficult times.

We are working hard to look after you.

If you think you have coronavirus please do not attend your GP practice, pharmacy or hospital. You can get advice via 111.nhs.uk or nhs.uk/coronavirus
